Greetings again after MUCH too long...
a recent server upgrade here has given me flexibility that
was slowly draining away.A lot of WTC-related stories have been
piling up,but just to jump-start these mailings again I'm not
going to run through the back piles...I remind all that older

I've continued to recruit new people to this email list as I go everywhere
with a REBUILD pin...putting back what was taken from us,or something on
an undiminished scale,is STILL what people want,after all the years of
twisted planning processes.

I last emailed just before the hearing at the museum,which was supposed
to be before a decision that had already been made to award undeserved
bond funding to the official projects...but our side was definitely the
most visible among the speakers,who only took up a fraction of the
available time.I wish we had produced more of a showing.

After that was the Rebuilders' Holiday dinner...Ken Gardner was there,
indicating he was dealing with movers and shakers in Jersey City to get
things moved and shaken.Shaking sense into the WTC-site planners will
take a pretty high Richter reading.

For those who can stomach registering to comment on websites,
or want to get IDs they can use via bugmenot.com,there's a CNN
blog entry about the plans for a mosque near the WTC site:

and there was recently one at the NYTimes.com site where rebuilders chimed
in.

The CNN writer,Stephen Prothero,says "How a nation memorializes the dead
matters",and he needs to be told that the most important statement to be
made is that the desire of the killers of our dead to have a lasting,
diminishing effect on our skyline must FAIL,and the planned empty holes
across streets from smaller buildings are totally wrong.
The more voices repeating this the better.
