(2)-No, this would just offer another target for attacks. (3)-I have no opinion. I am still speechless & I wanted your opinion. Their claim that the FT (a lesser structure by every measure but the height of the antenna) is "even more impressive" than the Twin Towers,and their assumption that one can only fault it for being too bold and not for being too timid,indeed merits our response. The NY electoral Primary for non-presidential offices is traditionally the second Tuesday in September...this year,for the first time since 2001, that is the 11th,but legislation is moving forward to postpone it a week to "reserve" the 11th for commemoration of the attacks. I hope,for the sake of healing,that this is the last time this happens, and that the bill is a one-shot.(It bothered me at the time that they restarted the 2001 primary from scratch,nullifying the votes cast by those victims who had voted as they were entitled to before their deaths). Please,people...stay involved.What gets built on the 16 acres MATTERS. It will define the people of our time in terms of how they responded to the terror attacks far more than any passing military action. We can't let this pass as if it was of little significance. In contrast,an online petition to Arnold Schwarzenegger to let the drunk scofflaw Paris Hilton out of her prison sentence has gotten over seventeen thousand signatures in the past two days; hundreds of them just during the preparation of this email! (while only ONE fresh signature arrived at Twin Towers Alliance). A matter of so much less significance can't be allowed to get so much more response...WAKE UP AMERICA!!! Knock us down,we must GET UP... let traffic violators with suspended licenses be forgotten whoever their families are.
