Figures became a unisex event for 1998-9,though only ladies qualified. There has,indefensibly,been no championship since 1999.

US Nationals have awarded dance medals in Waltz (1914-28,1930-35), Fourteenstep (1920-28),and Original Dance (1930-1934), before settling on a unified dance championship (1929,1936-2003).

The most inconsistently held(12 times scattered over 1924-91,once since 1950) event at US Nationals has been Fours.

The 1896-2001 World and World+Olympic Medal Point Lists.

The World Championships started in 1896.They were effectively unisex until a woman entered and won silver in 1902,when they decided to have men's singles 1903-1990,then added ladies' singles 1906-90.

Today these have been replaced by men's freeskating (top 10 1991-2,complete standings 1993-2002) and ladies' freeskating(complete standings 1991-2002).

The World pairs medalists 1908-2001.

The World dance medalists,1952-2001,with the semi-official medalists of 1950-1.

The 1996 World Championships were in Edmonton,Canada;the 1997 World Championships were in Lausanne,Switzerland;
the 1998 World Championships were in Minneapolis,the 1999 World Championships were in Helsinki...the 2000 World Championships were supposed to be in Brisbane,Australia (before a last-minute move to Nice by ISU edict), 2001 World Championships in Vancouver,and the 2002 in Nagano,Japan. The 2003 World Championships in Washington DC,2004 will be in Dortmund,Germany.
Not sure when Brisbane will get their crack at it again!
